Forage for Color - Spring Edition

  • Conscious Color Dye Lab 87 Sheldon Lane Craryville, NY, 12521 United States (map)

Learn all about the Spring time plants around us

& the basics of natural dyeing

Walk the forest, field and wetlands on our land to responsibly forage abundant plants and learn how to use them as a pigment. After our walk and snacks we will naturally dye with our foraged plants and go over how to create solid colors and create plant textures on fabric.

Bring home knowledge of the plants around you in the Hudson Valley and naturally dye a silk and cotton scarf.

Looking forward to spending the afternoon with you at our space <3

The walk can be adjusted depending upon the participants ability and weather. Private bookings available on site or at your land for groups of 3 or more. Please reach out to Hanouxdesign@gmail.com with all inquiries.

Our barn studio and land is located just 15 minutes from downtown Hudson, NY.

** Please reach out if funds are tight, we have 2 scholarships available to off set the cost for BIPOC folks.
